Adult Spiritual Formation

Meets Sunday mornings from 9 to 10:15

Adult education and spiritual formation offerings during the Sunday 9 AM hour are expanding this year. There will be two sessions to choose from on many Sundays. We'll have our adult forums as usual in the Fellowship room, and this year for the first time you will also be able to choose a Bible or book study. These new sessions will meet beginning on September 24. You might find choosing difficult at times; however we hope that by offering options we will be able to minister more effectively to our adults. Both of the Sunday AM adult sessions, most importantly, will place more intentional emphasis on making connections to worship, prayer, Bible study and service.

In our hectic lives it is sometimes very challenging to carve out a space and time to simply rest in God. "Centering Prayer" prepares us to receive the gift of God's presence. It consists of responding to the Spirit of Christ by consenting to God's presence and action within.
