All of Central’s ministry programs work together to incorporate young people, families and members of all ages into the life of the congregation.
COMMUNITY BUILDING: Intergenerational community-building events and activities for members, guests and visitors of all ages.
EDUCATION: Growing in faith by learning together. Educational opportunities for all ages. Includes Sunday School, Adult Forums, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation Classes, High School Program and more.
YOUTH & FAMILY: Creating a supportive, nurturing environment for families to grow in faith and love.
Youth in Worship: Central’s youth are active participants in worship. Kids serve as cantors, lectors, musicians, communion helpers, acolytes, ushers, offering collectors, participants in dramatic presentations and more. Many children gather around the altar each Sunday for the pastor’s kids’ message and come forward again at the end of each service to help with percussion during the closing song. They dance. They sing. They make joyful noise. They are welcome and loved.
