Music at Central Lutheran Church

At Central Lutheran, making a joyful noise to God is an important part of our Christian witness. In a culture that has given up its singing voice to professional performers and recording technicians, we at Central are committed to proclaiming our faith in shared song. Below is a selection of ways you can get involved making music at Central.

Chancel Choir - Thursdays, 7:00 pm
Our adult choir leads weekly worship and sings an anthem every Sunday.
We sing music from many traditions and styles!
The Chancel is open to everyone from High School age on up.
No experience necessary.
Just a love for singing and fellowship.

Resound Bells - Mondays, 6:30 pm
Our bell ensemble plays a monthly anthem in worship.
All Middle School youth and older are invited to join.

Joyful Noise - Sundays, 9:00 am
For all kids, preschool through grade 1! We open Sunday School with songs, prayers, and stories for the liturgical season.

New Song Bells - Sundays, 9:00 am
For grades 2-6. We use hand chimes and bells to prepare music throughout the year.

Vocal and Instrumental Solos
We make opportunities for sharing special musical selections at weekly worship and during the festivals of Christmas, Easter, and Pentecost.
